Tottenham approach loan transfer Dejan Kulusevski when Juventus star “passes medicine”

Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevki has completed his medical with Tottenham Hotspur and an agreement will be confirmed in due course, it has been reported.

The 21-year-old will be signed by Antonio Conte on loan, with the obligation to buy if certain clauses are met, becoming Tottenham’s first addition to the transfer market.

The Swedish international arrived in Atalanta through the youth system

The Guardian’s transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted: “Dejan Kulusevski’s medical care in London has been successfully completed today. [Monday] morning. Agreement signed between Tottenham and Juventus.

The Serie A player is believed to have flown to the UK on Sunday night to finalize the deal.

Tottenham made it to the Swedish international after failing to score goals for Luis Diaz and Adama Traore, losing to Liverpool and Barcelona respectively.

Antonio Conte has repeatedly stressed the need to bring reinforcements to strengthen his staff

Kulusevski signed for the Old Lady in 2020 from Atalanta, where he had been highly valued, but this season has struggled to start regularly.

The 21-year-old has made 20 Serie A appearances for Juve this season, but has only played a full 90 minutes three times.

If the Spurs want to sign Kulusevski permanently, as his contract with Juve does not expire until 2025, the price of the winger is expected to be around £ 33 million.

Tottenham are also set to complete a deal with Uruguay international international Rodrigo Bentancur, who will be joining Juventus along with Kulusevski.
